Independent Living

Independent Living

Independent living is similar to living in a traditional apartment complex or condominium. Residents have the freedom to live according to their schedules, and many of our independent living residents continue driving as well.

Independent living is simply a housing arrangement designed exclusively for older adults. These communities offer residents the freedom to maintain a recreational and social lifestyle with the added convenience of services such as housekeeping, prepared meals, and transportation.

Why Choose Independent Living?

As we get older, any housing change can seem like a loss of independence. However, as the name suggests, independent living is more about making life easier than giving up independence! Acknowledging limitations, like being unable to manage the upkeep of a home, and accepting some assistance may help maintain a regular independent routine for a longer time.

Benefits

Monthly rent can include several services such as transportation, housekeeping, and meals. While all three meals are included in our cost, many of our independent living residents choose to visit restaurants, symphonies, and other entertaining events with friends and also enjoy vacations, weddings, and other family gatherings.
